Kinesiology

Applied kinesiology is an approach that uses muscle testing in order to locate imbalances throughout the body. After the imbalance is located we can identify appropriate ways to correct these weak muscles, use physical therapies, herbs, dietary changes, or other treatments to address the client's health concern and relieve these imbalances.

Practitioners can use applied kinesiology to treat nervous system problems, nutritional deficiencies, or imbalances in the body’s “energy pathways” also known as meridians in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Applied Kinesiology was developed by George Goodheart Jr., a chiropractor who began to notice positive changes in his patients when he would press on pressure points in the body.  It can be used to compliment other health techniques to help the person reach optimal health.
